Beaches & Swimming
The main beach on Leisure Island is at Bollard Bay, where there is a good stretch of sand and shallow water ideal for children. At low tide the Green Hole on the east of the Island, and Land's End and Kingfisher Creek at the north-western tip offer small sandy beaches.
Swimming can best be enjoyed when the tide is in, and the best spots are the Hippo Pool and anywhere along Cearn Drive/Bayswater, the Green Hole, and Land's End.
Note that at present there are no lifesaving facilities or life rings anywhere on Leisure Island.
